The roots of the Armenian Cultural Union of Barcelona (ARCU) date back to 2004. The main goals of the Union are: preservation and dissemination of national roots and values, teaching Armenian language and history to Armenian children, consolidation of the Armenian community, integration of Armenian society and cooperation of Armenian youth both locally and among youth in other countries
