A few years ago, when the Viennese Edwin Baroian fell in love with the East Tyrolean Viki from the Defereggen Valley, his world expanded to include a beautiful piece of Austria. He got to know their homeland and was not only immediately impressed by the flora and fauna of East Tyrol, but also by the regional cuisine - he was particularly taken with the Schlipfkrapfen! Determined to share this enthusiasm with everyone, he founded a company dedicated to this task. Today, numerous renowned catering establishments and many private individuals purchase these delicacies, and the number is growing every day. The range of products was quickly expanded to include other regional delicacies from East Tyrol and Carinthia, which is why the original company name "schlipfkrapfen.at" was changed to "Schlipf & Co".
