It all started in 1922, when the Batanian family immigrated from Caesarea to Kokkinia, Piraeus. There she will build a small workshop on the roof of her house and start making what she knows how to do better than anything else: pasturma. Thus, Grandfather Batanian becomes the first producer of traditional sausages in Greece. Four generations have passed since the creation of that small workshop in Kokkinia and the progress and development of this unit continues with the enrichment of the company's catalogs with new products. After all, the progress of the workshop was already evident from the beginning, since the second generation turned it into a small craft and the third generation into a modern industry.
